Lalit
The first overseas property for The Lalit Suri Hospitality Group, whose 12-strong portfolio has set new standards for luxury and service in India, The Lalit London is the perfect blend of Indian culture, hospitality and cuisine and the finest Victorian architecture.
This exceptional boutique hotel is located in a Grade II-Listed property which was originally designed by Edward Mountford, the architect of the Old Bailey, and built in two phases, in 1893 and 1896. Located in Queen Elizabeth Street near the approach to Tower Bridge, the edifice originally housed St Olave’s Grammar School (where novelist Lawrence Durrell was a pupil) and, more recently, Lambeth College.

Ten Trinity Square
One of the most luxurious hotels to open in the capital in years the 5 star Ten Trinity Square has finally part opened this January in the former grade II listed Port of London Authority HQ across from the Tower of London.
Operated by the Four Seasons Hotel Group it will be their second hotel in London marking almost 50 years since they made their debut in the capital with the Four Seasons Park Lane.

The Ned
Opening early 2017, The Ned is situated in an iconic Grade I building designed by Sir Edwin ‘Ned’ Lutyens. The former Midland Bank headquarters will house the new members-only hotel from the Soho House group. The hotel itself will have 252 bedrooms, eight restaurants (from a Parisian café to a New York-style deli), two swimming pools, including one on the rooftop, a fully-equipped gym, and a Cowshed spa which will be open to the public. In true Soho House style, no expense will be spared in terms of the design details in the hotel: each of the rooms will channel classic 1920s and 1930s style and will include vintage pieces alongside brass and mahogany furniture, crystal chandeliers and rich textiles. The hotel will also make the most of the buildings original features, incorporating the old banking hall’s marble columns and walnut panelling into the renovation. If you visit, don’t miss the amazing Poultry Dome Terrace which offers amazing views out over the city and the perfect place for Friday evening drinks.
The Curtain
Opening right next door to renowned members-club Soho House in early 2017 is The Curtain. Offering everything a luxury members-only hotel should, plus some New York city charm, The Curtain will feature 120 guest rooms, a rooftop swimming pool and lounge, a 25-hour fitness centre, a spa, and more than 6,000 square feet of event space including a ballroom and screening room! On top of this, there will be cutting edge restaurant and bar spaces open to members including the celebrated Red Rooster restaurant, straight from Harlem to Shoreditch. The Curtain have promised acclaimed New York chef Marcus Samelsson will offer his unique mix of southern American soul food and Northern European cuisine that is so lauded in NYC, straight to members in Shoreditch. Expect Upper West Side luxury crossed with hip Harlem street-style, slap bang in the centre of London’s coolest neighbourhood.
Nobu Hotel
The newest property to the Nobu hotel portfolio will be opening in Shoreditch in Spring 2017. The building itself will be an impressive modern structure incorporating the Nobu philosophy of ‘east meets west’ into it’s design. Drawing on the cultural and industrial heritage of Shoreditch as well, the hotel will feature a ‘frayed edge’ of exposed streel beams sticking out from the side of the building, creating a totally unique silhouette. The attention to detail will continue inside: expect the slick and sophisticated interiors signature to Nobu properties. The hotel itself will have 143 guest rooms including 7 suites, a lobby bar, a 25-hour room service, flexible meeting rooms, a state of the art gym facility including a sauna and steam room, and of course, a 240 seat restaurant offering the innovative culinary creations Nobu is world famous for.
